After years of planning, officials broke ground on a long-awaited housing development next to Chukchansi Park in Downtown Fresno.
The project, known as the Park at South Stadium Apartments, will include more than 170 housing units in an eight-story building. According to Mayor Jerry Dyer, 70 of those units will be designated as affordable housing.
