Alabama Businessman Buys $100 Million Airplane From Bankrupt Airline

Spirit Airlines is no longer an airline, and they have a bunch of airplanes just sitting in a hangar.

Some of these Airbus (with a factory in Alabama) planes are worth $100,000,000. That is some serious money, and not everyone can afford a new jumbo jet. In my recent travels to Albertville, Alabama, I discovered the story of a beautiful Airbus A320 airliner that has been parked in Albertville for the last few weeks.

Albertville is home to an amazing company known as Aviation Service Partners, which repairs aircraft and can also customize the inside. Nobody knows who has purchased this former Spirit Airlines jet, but rumor has it that it will soon belong to an Alabama businessman.
