NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Murfreesboro criminal defense attorney who was allowed to continue practicing law despite a criminal indictment against him has now been suspended for unrelated cases.
WSMV4 has learned that Kirk Catron received a six-month suspension, effective Aug. 10, after Catron filed a motion to withdraw as representation on a case and attached an exhibit “containing pages of confidential communications between himself and his client.”
“The inclusion of the confidential information was not authorized and no exception to the prohibition of disclosing client confidential information existed,” the Supreme Court of Tennessee said in a press release…
