Wichita Public School officials have found bats in three schools, and getting rid of them is expected to be costly.
Bats have been reported at College Hill Elementary School, Curtis Middle School and Truesdell Middle School, according to a staff report in Monday’s school board agenda. USD 259 plans to spend $121,000 on a remediation contract with Anderson Wildlife Solutions of Macksville.
