MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Fresno Police officer was arrested in Madera County after deputies say he tried to force his way into someone else’s home.
According to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Matthew Rodarte was arrested on Sunday outside a home in the area of Cathedral Court and Peters Road in Madera. Based on statements received by deputies, it is believed that Rodarte was at the wrong house and was upset that he was not being let inside.
Rodarte was booked into Madera County Jail on suspicion of attempted burglary, threaten a crime with intent to terrorize, and disorderly conduct.
