Two rezoning requests along Fleming Road in Greensboro could allow duplexes, townhouses, and up to 60 apartments on about 6.54 acres currently zoned R-3 and CD-C-L.
According to the Planning and Zoning Commission’s August agenda, applicant Nick Blackwood filed both cases—one for GSD Companies at 1927 Fleming Road and another for Wass Realty Holdings at 2308 and 2316 Fleming Road.
What’s proposed at each site
The 2.79-acre site at 1927 Fleming Road, southwest of Fleming Road near Pasquinelli Place, would shift from R-3 to CD-RM-8, allowing duplexes, townhouses, twin homes, traditional houses, and single-family detached dwellings.
The 3.75-acre site at 2308 and 2316 Fleming Road, northeast of Fleming Road near Inman Road, is proposed as a Planned Unit Development with a Unified Development Plan and two phases: up to 15,000 square feet of office space in Phase 1, then up to 60 residential units in Phase 2…
