Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise will hold in-person and virtual meetings Aug. 24 and 25 to provide information about the Central Polk Parkway East, a proposed toll road from U.S. 27 to north of U.S. 17-92.
The Enterprise, a division of the Florida Department of Transportation, will provide several options to participate in a meeting. A virtual meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Aug. 24. The public may participate by computer, tablet, smartphone or by telephone in listen-only mode.
An in-person event will be held Aug. 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lake Eva Event Center, 799 Johns Ave., in Haines City. A second in-person meeting will take place Aug. 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.at the Tom Fellows Community Center, 207 North Blvd. W, in Davenport…
