SALEM, Ore. — The City of Salem has been allocated $85,647 through a federal grant program supporting law enforcement and other criminal justice services.
The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program, commonly known as JAG. The program provides money for personnel, equipment, technology, training, crime prevention, courts, corrections and services for crime victims and witnesses.
