Silfab and York County face lawsuits, including this one that’s now fast tracked

The S.C. Court of Appeals has agreed to fast track hearing a case of a Fort Mill landowner near the Silfab plant who sued York County over permitting the plant to open.

The decision, made late Tuesday and has no timeline, comes as three other civil lawsuits involving Silfab Solar and its controversial site near schools and homes close to the Charlotte line are set for Aug. 26 in York County civil court.
