CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is mourning the loss of retired Lt. Eugene Frazier Sr., a visionary whose law enforcement career spanned more than two decades.
The CCSO says in 1966, Lt. Frazier became one of the first African Americans hired by the Charleston County Police Department.
