LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Multiple fire crews worked quickly to stop a grass fire near N.E. Old Highway 33 from damaging homes on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Robert Rogers, the Interim Fire Chief for the Langston Volunteer Fire Department, their crews received a call about the fire at around 1 p.m.
“First units on scene reported that there was heavy fuel load with high winds,” Rogers said. “Our units were able to keep it from burning down any of the houses. We did lose two outbuildings, but we managed to maintain all residential dwellings from burning down,” he added…
