LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A family safely escaped a Lafayette house fire that investigators believe was started by a child playing with a cigarette lighter.
The Lafayette Fire Department reported that firefighters responded to a house fire on Crawford Street, off West Congress Street, near Guilbeau Road, on Wednesday, Aug. 12, just before 9:15 p.m.
