For the second time in just over a week, a waterspout came ashore on a crowded South Carolina beach, sending chairs, umbrellas, tents and surfboards flying as people scrambled out of its path.
Video captured near The Washout at Folly Beach around noon on Saturday, Aug. 8, shows the waterspout moving inland from the ocean. The National Weather Service in Charleston later rated it an EF0 tornado with estimated peak winds of 55 mph. No injuries were reported…
