SUMMERFIELD, N.C. (WGHP) — A 120-acre park in Summerfield is set to open on schedule in November, featuring miles of trails, a playground and a picnic shelter.
Bandera Farms is off of Bunch Road between Reedy Fork Creek and Highway 73. It will be Summerfield’s largest park.
“This is our third major park. We have an athletic park. We have a community park, and now we’re going to have this equestrian park that will have normal walking trails, equestrian walking trails, another playground,” Town Manager Charles “Twig” Rollins said.
