City of Aledo Mayor Shane Davis emphasizes the importance of communication among surrounding areas to safely and effectively navigate a period with ongoing construction projects throughout Parker County.
Davis met with Shawna Russell Jones, Northwest Texas TxDOT communication director, on Aug. 4. Jones is representing the Interstate 20/Interstate 30 project and the Interstate 30/Chapel Creek project. She is “a Parker County resident, giving her firsthand knowledge of the transportation challenges our community is facing,” Davis said. “One of the biggest takeaways from our conversation is that communication between the city and TxDOT will improve as projects move forward.”
