A security manager of a downtown Eugene apartment complex was punched in the head Wednesday morning by a man who was trespassing and refusing to leave, the Eugene Police Department said.
The suspect, later identified as Mokhtar Joseph Emilien, 34, was reported to Eugene Police by an apartment employee. The employee had seen Emilien taking a large box out of a supply truck at the 13th and Olive Apartments, which contained approximately $600 in various repair parts.
An apartment employee told Emilien to stop, and eventually he put the box back, but refused to leave the parking garage, and became argumentative with the security manager. Emilien had previously been trespassed from the location. Emilien charged at one of the employees who pepper sprayed Emilien…
