Hillsboro firefighters pulled a construction worker with serious injuries out of a trench Wednesday, authorities said.
Around 2:20 p.m., fire crews were called to a construction site near Northwest Jackson School Road and Northeast Evergreen Road where a worker had fallen about 15 feet into a trench and was injured, according to the fire department.
