A man is fighting for his life at the hospital Friday morning after a shooting on Jacksonville’s Southside. It happened at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday at the Mirage on Kernan apartment complex in the 3600 block of Kernan Boulevard S.
Officers responded to the location for reports of gunfire. A short time later Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was notified of a walk-in patient at the hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper and lower extremities, a JSO news release states.
