28th annual ‘Jazz on the Triangle’ returns to Nashville for a soulful afternoon celebration

NASHVILLE, TN — A cherished local musical tradition is officially making its way back to Music City. The community is gearing up for the 28th annual “Jazz on the Triangle” concert series, bringing an afternoon of rich heritage and vibrant rhythms to the heart of South Nashville on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

The highly anticipated cultural event will kick off at 4 p.m. at the historic Church of the Holy Trinity. Located at 615 Sixth Avenue South, the landmark destination sits prominently at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Lafayette Street.

This year’s spectacular showcase features a headlining performance by local powerhouse Paula Chavis and Friends.
