BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Blue Oak Coffee announced Thursday they would be closing its doors after more than a decade in business.
The owners said they opened 11 years ago with nothing more than a coffee roaster, an espresso machine, a few chairs and tables and a dream.
Since then they’ve poured thousands of cups and became a staple on the corner of 20th and G streets.

The owners didn’t immediately share a reason for the closing, but thanked customers for the early morning chats, study sessions, first dates and reunions…
