FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A judge sentenced an Allen County man to more than 20 years in prison Friday on attempted murder and intimidation charges.
Tyler Allison, 22, received a 25-year sentence for the attempted murder charge, a Level 1 felony, but also had two years of the sentence suspended to accompany 302 days of jail credit.
The intimidation charge, a Level 5 felony, netted Allison an additional three years, but the judge presiding of his sentencing order the charge to run concurrently to the attempted murder sentencing.
In October 2025, police responded to a Target after multiple people heard a mentally ill man claiming he was going to break into a home and kill everyone inside so he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
