AG Russell Coleman announces intent to uphold sentence for man found guilty of human trafficking

KENTUCKY (WKYT) – The AG’s office is fighting to maintain a 30-year sentence for a man convicted for five counts of human trafficking.

A Jefferson County jury found 39-year-old Moises May guilty in 2025 for several charges related to a 2023 human trafficking case.

May is convicted of kidnapping a woman, chaining her to the floor by her neck, leaving her locked in a home and impersonating her to organize sex crimes…
