ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – Students across Roanoke County returned to class for the first day of school, with thousands filling hallways, meeting teachers and settling into a new academic year.
At Burlington Elementary, students spent the morning finding their classrooms and getting acquainted with their new surroundings — a scene playing out at schools across the county.
