Some fellow Fort Worthians — and damn fine makers of vegan cuisine — are going through a difficult time and could use some help.
According to a Facebook post and GoFundMe page, Marcus Hicks, co-owner of Belenty’s Love Mexican Restaurant, is recovering from severe injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident July 19, which required a 10-day hospital stay.
Obviously, such an unforeseen crisis has resulted in mounting medical bills, stress, and challenges with Belenty’s. To help cover medical costs, family friend Allison Gambill Chambers started a GoFundMe campaign that will help assist Hicks’ family with medical bills, therapy, follow-up care, daily living expenses, and costs associated with keeping Belenty’s open.
