LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Louisville nonprofit ministry says the combination of rising costs and deep federal funding cuts has pushed demand for food and financial assistance to a critical point.
Fern Creek/Highview United Ministries provides food and money to help community members pay rent and utility bills. The organization serves a wide range of residents, including many immigrants.
