(FOX40.COM) — Three people received minor injuries after a house caught fire Friday evening in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento County, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said.
Around 7:15 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to a property in the 4600 block of Vander Way for a reported residential structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a kitchen fire that had extended into the attic, the fire district said.
The homeowners and their 7-year-old son were inside when the house caught fire, but quickly exited. The three sustained minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution, the fire district said…
