The iconic night markets of Asia have a rich history dating back nearly 1,500 years to China’s Tang Dynasty. The lively gatherings have since been replicated all across Southeast Asia, and, in recent years, made their way to Orlando, where night markets have lured throngs of hungry revelers to Festival Park, East End Market and Edoboy’s parking lot.
At Mills Market, the food hub has been staging wildly popular night markets since May 2025, to the point where James Beard-nominated restaurateurs Johnny and Jimmy Tung felt a permanent venue was needed.
Enter the old Little Saigon space. The Mills 50 mainstay, joined at the hip to Mills Market, closed last year after nearly 40 years of the serving the community allowing owners Vu Nguyen and Mai Huynh to retire.
