BCA identifies St. Paul officer who shot fleeing suspect

Investigators have identified the St. Paul police officer who shot and injured a fleeing suspect after he allegedly pointed a replica gun at officers.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension identified the officer who shot the suspect during the Monday incident outside Regions Hospital as Jacob Pederson.
