BEND, Ore. — Deschutes Public Library celebrated the opening of its new Central Library Saturday with an afternoon of art, performances and activities.
The grand opening featured remarks from U.S. Poet Laureate Arthur Sze and Oregon Poet Laureate Ellen Waterston, along with performances by Lava City Cirque, and hands-on activities in the MakerSpace.
