KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — An 18-year-old was hospitalized with serious injuries early Sunday morning after a shooting in northern Kalamazoo, police say.
Officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to reports of a shooting on Fox Ridge Drive near Alamo Avenue around 1 a.m., the department said in a release. At the scene, they found an 18-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he remained in critical condition late Sunday morning.
