TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo woman reached out to 13 Action News with photos and video of raw sewage covering her basement, claiming apartment staff told her to clean it herself. More than a week later, she said nobody had shown up to help.
Laneda Jones has lived at Southwyck Place Apartments and Townhouses for seven years. She said the trouble started when a plumbing issue in a neighboring unit went unaddressed.
Because her unit is at the end of the line, everything backed up into her basement. Maintenance came out and she thought the problem was fixed — until she went back downstairs the next day…
