ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WJHL) — HomeTrust Bank announced on Monday that it entered a merger agreement with Richmond, Virginia-based Blue Ridge Bank.
HomeTrust Bank is headquartered in Asheville, North Carolina and has three branches in the Tri-Cities, one in Kingsport and two in Johnson City.
An announcement posted to social media by HomeTrust said that after the companies legally close the deal, the combined company will have approximately $7 billion in assets and 60 locations across the Southeast, “creating a stronger regional banking franchise positioned for long-term growth and enhanced service to our customers and communities.”…
