BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A prominent sergeant with the Bakersfield Police Department’s Robbery and Homicide Unit will soon be joining the Kern County District Attorney’s Office.
Robert Pair will start his tenure as the Chief of Bureau of Investigations with the DA’s office on Oct. 5, following the retirement of current chief, Randall Meyer.
Meyer’s last day with the office will be Oct. 3, after 25 years servicing the Kern County community.
