CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – A Charlottesville Police Department K-9 Unit dog, Blue, died the evening of August 16.
Blue was found unresponsive in a Charlottesville police vehicle at his handler’s home in Greene County before he was pronounced deceased.
According to the CPD website, Officer Darius Nash was Blue’s handler.
