KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Nearly 6,000 people were left without power Monday as strong storms moved through Knoxville, according to the Knoxville Utilities Board outage map.
Monday afternoon, storms with strong winds and heavy rain impacted the Knoxville area. The KUB outage map showed 5,942 KUB customers without power as of 5:45 p.m. Fewer than 1,400 remained without power as of 8:25 p.m.
