Jury finds man guilty on four charges in 2022 Omaha murder

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A jury has found a man guilty on all four charges in his retrial for the 2022 killing of a woman in Omaha.

Keanu Louis was convicted of first-degree murder, use of a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a juvenile offender and criminal conspiracy. 20-year-old DaeTiauna Kellogg was killed on Nov. 6, 2022, at 49th Avenue and Miami Street.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 20.

Louis was 19 at the time of the killing and was later arrested in Seattle, Washington. His first trial ended in a mistrial after the jury was deadlocked 10-2, according to the mistrial order. The jurors were discharged…
