During its monthly meeting Monday night, the Muscogee County School District Board unanimously approved two leadership changes recommended by superintendent David Lewis:
- Appointment of Stephanie Dalton-Faulk as MCSD executive director of elementary education
- Appointment of James Short as assistant principal of Rothschild Middle School.

Stephanie Dalton-Faulk
Dalton-Faulk has been an educator for 25 years, all in MCSD, including as director of school and district effectiveness since November 2024.
She began her career as a Title I intervention teacher and a fifth-grade teacher at Lonnie Jackson Academy (2001-05). She worked as an academic coach at Lonnie Jackson (2005-06) and Rigdon Road Elementary School (2006-11).
