SPOKANE, Wash – The hundreds of families who lost their homes in the Spokane-area wildfires this month are getting extra hands to help dig through the rubble and find what’s important to them.
Volunteers from Samaritan’s Purse are on the ground, literally sifting through the debris to help families salvage important items.
“There’s no pretty way to say it or glamorous way to go about it, they’re doing the dirty work I had been thinking about doing myself for so long,” said Gregg Morin, who lost his home in the Old Trails Fire. “And they’re doing it without hesitation.”…
