SMITHFIELD, Va. (WAVY)– A man faces charges following a burglary in Smithfield Monday.
According to police, officers responded to that reported burglary in the area of Astrid Street. While investigating, detectives identified a suspect and developed probable cause related to the burglary.
The following day, police obtained a search warrant and later took 40-year-old Devin Jarrett into custody. While executing the search warrant, investigators recovered stolen money and additional items of evidence related to the burglary.
