CANADIAN, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation Amarillo District noted on Tuesday that the traffic light at US 83 and Washita Avenue will undergo modifications.
According to TxDOT officials, east and westbound traffic will see a flashing yellow light and a red light for north and southbound traffic while crews make the modifications. Officials note that a timetable for completion has not been established as of Aug. 18.
TxDOT asked that drivers use caution and reduce speeds through all work zones. The estimated time of completion is subject to change due to weather, emergency work, or other unexpected events.
