VANCOUVER, Wash. — Shoppers in Vancouver may soon be paying an extra dime for every $100 dollars thanks to a proposed, new public safety sales tax.
The Vancouver City Council held a preliminary vote to bump up the sales tax to create enough money to bring in 13 new officers.
