Kern County coroner IDs Bakersfield man who was struck, killed by train near Edison Hwy

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County law enforcement has identified the man who was struck and killed by a train earlier this week.

The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 61-year-old Henry Raygoza of Bakersfield.

Raygoza was struck by a train at the intersection of Edison Highway and Quantico Avenue on Friday, Aug. 14, around 3:15 p.m.

The coroner’s office said Raygoza was transported to Kern Medical, where he later died due to his injuries…
