MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Deputies with the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office were involved in a standoff Wednesday morning after attempting to make a court-requested pickup.

According to MCSO officials, deputies were asked to complete a probate pickup, but when they arrived at the home at Third Avenue and Owens Street in the Trinity Gardens community, the man was “aggravated” and initially refused to come outside the home.
The man did come outside, but officials said he had a weapon and said he did not want to go with them.
Deputies then called in the sheriff’s office’s specialized units and Bearcat, according to officials, who said they had to knock down part of the home to get the man to talk…
