MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The identity of the man involved in the barricade incident at Winton on Tuesday and other key information were revealed Wednesday afternoon by the Merced County Sheriff’s Office.
The man who barricaded himself in a home and fired a gun at a victim was identified as 46-year-old Raul Guardado Jr. on Wednesday, according to officials.
The sheriff’s office says that officers responded to a report of a domestic incident around 5:30 p.m. at the 6700 block of Cypress Avenue in Winton on Tuesday.
