ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- An Albany County sheriff’s deputy has been suspended without pay after investigators raised new questions about how police dog Casey got out and was killed.
Deputy Giuseppe Stone was suspended Thursday, August 20 as investigators continued reviewing the timing of Casey’s escape from her kennel in Ravena and her death on the New York State Thruway about a half-mile away.
Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple told NewsChannel 13 that things “aren’t adding up.”…
