BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Wible Road, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Officials with BPD said at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Wible Road for reports of a male suffering fatal injuries.
The investigation revealed the man was crossing outside of a crosswalk on Wible Road just south of Ming Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle travelling south.
