Summer heat rolls on, more storms to end workweek

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – After some of our northern communities had a slight decrease in the mugginess Wednesday, we’re all feeling it again for the rest of the workweek. This will start to bring back some rain chances late Thursday and especially Friday.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy Thursday. Very hot and muggy with highs mostly between 95 and 99 degrees. Feels like temperatures max out near 105 degrees, higher in spots. A few isolated thundershowers possible during the afternoon, especially near and south of Highway 80.
