13-year-old suspects accused in gunpoint robbery during THC vape pen deal in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — The High Point Police Department obtained a pair of juvenile petitions following a gunpoint robbery involving teens and THC vape pens.

At around 8 p.m. on Monday, officers came to the 900 block of Mill Avenue after getting a report of a robbery involving a weapon.

A 13-year-old victim told investigators that he had arranged to sell THC vape pens to juveniles whom he knew in a nearby parking lot when one of the suspects pulled out a gun and the other suspect stole the vape pens.

Both of the suspects then ran away, according to police. No one was hurt in the robbery…
