Rev. Dr. Lorenzo S. Edwards Sr., husband, father, mentor, minister, college administrator and civil rights and religious leader for decades in Marion County, passed away on Aug. 16 at the age of 88.
Edwards served as pastor of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Ocala for 50 years.
