PLEASANT HILL, Iowa — A Pleasant Hill man charged with attempted murder after allegedly attacking his ex-wife with a machete faces new charges in the case.
Jeremy Dale Reben, 43, was arrested on June 6 and booked into the Polk County Jail on charges of Attempted Murder, Domestic Abuse Assault – 2nd Offense, and Assault Committed by a Person Against Whom a Protective Order is Issued.
According to a criminal complaint filed in the case, around 10 p.m. on June 5, Reben and his ex-wife had gotten into a verbal fight, at which point Reben entered his vehicle and drove it into the side of the victim’s vehicle.
